Gtalk is a windows applications. In Linux you can use a generic Jabber client; My Kde IM client is kopete.
You can configure kopete for this in few simple steps:

1) Run kopete

2) Click menu “settings”>”Configure”

3) Click “Accounts” > “New…”

4) Select Jabber protocol

5) Insert yuour “username@gmail.com” in JabberID

6) Check Remember password and insert your password in the pass field

7) In the Connection tab, check: - Use protocol encryption SSL - Allow plain-text password authentication - Override default server information and fill server field with “66.102.11.125″ or “gtalk.google.com” and port “5223″

Now press OK and you account configuration is done!

Press the Lightbulb to connect!

Un paio di giorni fa si è laureata la mia fastidiosa amica Annalisa; ancora una volta comprendo quanto la laurea oggi giorno sia alla portata di tutti.

Gli scherzi fatti son stati:
-Vestirla da puffo (data statura e cognome! =)
-Farle conlpire con delle freccette (fatte a mano) un cartellone con un puffo disegnato; ad ogni sbaglio le aggiungevamo un accessorio da puffo.
-Quando ci siamo stancati di vederla tirare “pietosamente” freccette, l’abbiamo mandata in giro a rompere alla gente dove fosse Sulmona. (Abbiamo cosi assodato che la gente è ignorante!).

Inutile dirlo.. ma ogni volta che rivedo il mio film preferito…Wargames, il mio amore per i Computer cresce!! =) Quando ero piccolo amavo i dinosauri, proprio come il professor Falken.. nel film… sarà questo film che mi avrà illuminato la strada? Chissà! =)
Bellissimo anche l’IMSAI 8080, per chi non lo sapesse è uno dei primi personal computer (1975), con processore intel 8080 e con max 64Kb di Ram…
