Today I’ve used Kubuntu 8.04 installation CD with KDE4 to rescue my girlfriend’s thesis on her broken Windoze PC!
In a couple of minutes I mounted an External HDD and her primary ( C: ) NTFS partition and I copied all her desktop files (yeah she has got all her files on the desktop ).
Thank you linux!
PS: KDE4 looks great on her big 16:9 screen!
