My review
September 2006 There are some different driver. At moment the most stable and usable is the legacy ralink driver (rt2570.ko module). You can download and compile the last driver version:

This driver support support also mac changing, monitor mode and packet injection and work fine with aircrack, aircrack-ng suite and Gnu macchanger.

26 October 2006- At moment i’m using the new rt2500usb driver (rt2×00 series), it works really fine, and i can use my device in monitor and maneged mode at same time (using 2 different interface Eg: wlan0 & wlan1 switched on the same channel).
Note: At moment rt2×00 don’t support packet injection.
